the stones

'I AM A STONE, I GO WHERE I AM KICKED.: Chinese proverb....

hola,
apparently the family name was not always stone, i am the 3G version of same.

Big John Stone
i know almost nothing about him except rumor was he fled the Deep South and changed his name to avoid arrest or something. my fathers mother died when he was a teen and his second wife was a thin scared woman but a good cook. he was my sized before 1968 about 6 foot 7 and 300 plus pounds.i had no idea i even had a living grandfather until he came to my fathers funeral, later we spent two weeks in Raleigh NC one summer and it was rural hadscrabble.i was not told when he died as Mother did not like him, too much in size and temperment to her own father?

Charles nee Charlie B. Stone
born in 1917, mother died just before he joined th army in WWW2 , had a bad and VA ignored case of PTSD and could neither hold a steady job nor stop drinking altho he was an excellent cook and would serve mother breakfast in bed Sundays when he was allowed home.

mother once let it slip that after WW2 father had returned to the U$A NOT to her but to another woman in Philly by whom he sired a son name Clifford before finding mother in Harlem, which might account for some of her eternal resentment towards him . memory has him dying at 38 the same year i was mouth raped in day car, Catholic day care Joseph P.Kennedy  Jr.  Catholic day care....
